After three years of living half-way up what passes as a mountain in the Finistere department of Brittany, the Easts have de-camped and moseyed on down to the Loire Valley, the setting for the next French Impressions book.
Other people might have found a normal run-of-the-mill place to live; the Easts have once again found somewhere rather special. The nearest village to their hamlet of three dwellings is dominated by an enormous chateau which puts Disneyworld to shame for over-the-topness...and (believe it or not) is owned by an American as the ultimate in holiday homes.
